Public Hearing - Conditional Use for Lift Station at Manor Place

LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of West Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida, has called for Public Hearing(s) to be held as follows: West Melbourne Board of Adjustment, December 7, 2023, 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard in the Council Chamber located at 2285 Minton Road, West Melbourne, Florida. 

The purpose of these hearing(s) will be to consider a request for a conditional use and initial site plan approval as provided in Chapter 98, Article III., Division 3. R-1AA Single-Family Residential District, Sec. 98-154. – Conditional uses, to allow for a city owned sewer lift station for a septic to sewer conversion project on the southwest corner of property located at 601 Manor Place, West Melbourne, Florida, on the following described property: 

A portion of Lot 1, Sheridan Manor, according to the plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 24, Page 188, of the Public Records of Brevard County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows: 

Begin at the southwest corner of said Lot 1 and run North 01’05’50” East along the westerly line of said Lot 1, a distance of 18.50 feet thence North 90’00’00” East, a distance of 31.00 feet; thence South 00’00’00” East, a distance of 31.00 feet to the north right-of-way line of Sheridan Road; thence South 90’00’00” West along said north right-of-way line, a distance of 31.35 feet to the point-of-beginning. Containing 577 Square feet or 0.013 acres, more or less. 

The conditional use application and proposed initial site plan are available for public inspection at City Hall, 2240 Minton Road, West Melbourne, Florida. The public hearing(s) may be continued to a time and date certain by announcement at the scheduled hearing without any further published notice. All persons wishing to be heard should appear in person at these hearings or send written comments to the City Clerk. All persons and parties are hereby advised that if they should decide to appeal any decision made by the City with respect to any matter considered at the public meeting or hearing described in this notice, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, said person or party may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Chapter 286, Florida Statutes). In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), anyone who needs a special accommodation for this meeting should contact the City Clerk’s office at (321) 727-7700 at least 48 hours in advance of this meeting.
