[ARCHIVED] Storm Debris Clean-Up

The City is requesting that residents in the City follow the directions below for storm debris collection:

  1. Waste Management will service carted garbage, carted recycle, containerized yard waste, and bulky waste (i.e., furniture, etc.) on regularly scheduled service days.
  2. Storm debris contractors will service large, loose vegetative debris piles starting as early as October 5, 2022.   Please have your piles located at the front of your property as close to the road as possible.
  3. Residents are encouraged to call Waste Management at (321) 723-4455 to schedule bulky waste for service pick-ups.
  4. Residents are responsible for disposing of construction debris, including wood fencing.
  5. Sandbags can be returned to pallets located at the City Public Works Facility (1415 Henry Avenue).

The City’s storm debris contractors will only make one pass through the City to pick up large vegetative debris piles.  Please help communicate this information to your neighbors.

If you are not able to have your vegetative debris piles out before the trucks come through your neighborhood, please put your vegetative debris into containers and Waste Management will pick up during your normal route schedule.
