FOG Online Recordkeeping Program

On March 5, 2013, the West Melbourne City Council approved Ordinance No. 2013-02, a Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) ordinance to create awareness, increase compliance and reduce ratepayer dollars spent on cleaning the accumulation of fats, oil and grease in the City's public sewer system and lift stations.

As of July 1, 2013, all Food Service Establishments (FSE) and Grease Waste Haulers/Maintainers, doing business in the City of West Melbourne have been required to use the City's FOG Online Record Keeping Program in order to meet the reporting requirements. The online reporting is fast, it is free, and saves ratepayer dollars. Access the record keeping program.

About the Program

The FOG Online Record Keeping Program is provided to the City's Food Service Establishments (FSE) and Grease Waste Haulers/Maintainers to make it easy to comply with City Ordinance No. 2013-02. The online FOG record keeping program is fast and easy to use and will instantly notify the City of all grease collection, removal, inspections, disposal, and maintenances preformed on the grease removal systems operating in the City of West Melbourne. There is no charge to the FSE or Grease Waste Hauler/Maintainer to register and use the City's FOG Online Record Keeping Program.
