City Council Meeting Broadcast

Live Broadcast & On Demand Council Meetings

As a new service to the citizens, the City of West Melbourne began broadcasting City Council meetings live over the internet as of December 6, 2011.

Previously broadcast City Council meetings will be available for on demand viewing for a period of six months. DVD's of prior broadcast meetings are available from the City Clerk's office. Prices are based on actual cost of supplies and postage and are subject to fluctuation.

  • Cost of a single DVD is $1
  • Meeting length determines the number of DVDs required

Broadcasts

  • Live broadcast of Council meetings - Council meetings take place on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Regular City Council meetings are normally held at 6:00 p.m. This link will direct you to the city's YouTube channel where the live stream can be selected. Creating a YouTube account and signing in is optional, but is not required. View notes (PDF) on how to view the live stream.
  • On demand viewing of Council meetings - Previously broadcast Council meetings are available for viewing at your convenience. Note that only meetings from the past six months are available online.
