The City of West Melbourne requests submittal of bid proposals for the Police Station Renovation & Addition Project. This project includes, but is not limited to the following: In the existing building, renovation consists of reconfiguring spaces, new locker rooms, replacing finishes, lighting and improvements to communications. The addition to the existing 10,208 SF building is 10,573 SF of new space including storage, restrooms, offices, work spaces and a training room. Site work includes expansion to existing parking, sidewalks, fencing, a new gate and various utility additions & modifications. The existing building exterior modifications include reconstruction of all parapets, a front entrance canopy addition and modifications to the building façade, new building signage and modification to existing entrance steps. Duration of the contract: Refer to the project schedule on page 00010-19. Meeting and submittal dates shall be specified in the delivery schedule.
The deadline for submission of sealed proposals is Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at 12:00 pm. The bid opening is scheduled for Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the West Melbourne City Hall, 2240 Minton Road, 2nd Floor, West Melbourne, Florida.
