Bids and request for proposal will be posted here when available.  Most bids and proposals are also made available on Demandstar.  It is the responsibility of the bidder to check back periodically for addendums to the bid, which must be signed and returned with any bid package.


Police Station Renovation & Addition Project
The City of West Melbourne requests submittal of bid proposals for the Police Station Renovation & Addition Project.  This project includes, but is not limited to the following:  In the existing building, renovation consists of reconfiguring spaces, new locker rooms, replacing finishes, lighting and improvements to communications.  The addition to the existing 10,208 SF building is 10,573 SF of new space including storage, restrooms, offices, work spaces and a training room.  Site work includes expansion to existing parking, sidewalks, fencing, a new gate and various utility additions & modifications.  The existing building exterior modifications include reconstruction of all parapets, a front entrance canopy addition and modifications to the building façade, new building signage and modification to existing entrance steps.  Duration of the contract:  Refer to the project schedule on page 00010-19.  Meeting and submittal dates shall be specified in the delivery schedule.

The deadline for submission of sealed proposals is Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at 12:00 pm.  The bid opening is scheduled for Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the West Melbourne City Hall, 2240 Minton Road, 2nd Floor, West Melbourne, Florida.

Engineering Services for Water Treatment Plant Feasibility

The City of West Melbourne requests submittal of proposals for the New Water Treatment Plant Feasibility Analysis and Exploratory Engineering, Geotechnical, Environmental and Permitting Services. The intent of the City is to select a firm to perform professional engineering and related services over an extended time frame to allow the City to make a well-informed decision as to whether or not to proceed to final engineering design, permitting, construction, and operation of a new water treatment plant to produce drinking water for current and future citizens and businesses. Although selection of a single provider is the City’s intention, the City reserves the right to reject all proposers or to select more than one firm to perform the needed services as it feels is in its best interest.

The deadline for submission of proposals is
Friday, December 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm.  A Professional Services Review Committee Meeting will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm. at West Melbourne City Hall, 2240 Minton Road, 2nd Floor, West Melbourne, Florida  32904.
