The City of West Melbourne requests submittal of bid proposals for the Newcomb Lane Drainage Improvements Project. The project consists of removing and replacing various approximately 135 linear feet of stormwater piping south of the Lemon Grove Avenue and Newcomb Lane intersection, modification of existing stormwater structures, demolition and restoration of concrete driveway and lawn areas, and all other items and work specified in the contract documents. All bids shall be based on the bid documents, specifications and project drawings included within the bid package. The duration of the contract shall be for 60 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) to Final Completion, with Substantial Completion within 45 days from NTP.
Sealed offers, in two (2) originals, for furnishing the services, supplies or equipment will be accepted at the City of West Melbourne, c/o Christine Pennington, Legal Assistant, 2240 Minton Road, West Melbourne, Florida 32904 until 2:00 p.m. on June 13, 2018. Under no circumstances shall any bid offer be accepted after the above-stipulated date and time. All bids will be stamped as to the date and time the bid was submitted. Offers will be publicly opened at West Melbourne City Hall located at 2240 Minton Road, 2nd Floor, West Melbourne, Florida 32904 on June 13, 2018 at 2:10 p.m.
