The City of West Melbourne is committed to maintaining a police department that is professional and services its community with integrity and honor. The City encourages feedback from the public.
Police officers understand that hard work and selfless service are necessary in law enforcement. At the West Melbourne Police Department, the police hold themselves to high standards of moral, ethical, and professional conduct. Any citizen who has a compliment for police service in the city may contact the department to ensure the officer or officers concerned are notified of your appreciation.
If you wish to commend the actions of a West Melbourne Police Department member or any aspect of our operations, you can do so using one of the following methods:
- Telephone 321-723-9673 and ask to speak to the member's supervisor or the on-duty supervisor.
- Visit the West Melbourne Police Department at 2290 Minton Road and ask to speak the the on-duty supervisor.
- Download the Compliment an Officer form and email it, mail it, or drop it off at the police department.
The compliment will be passed onto the employee as well as their respective supervisor for inclusion into their personnel file.
