The Records Unit is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm.
To request a copy of a police report:
E-mail requests are answered Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please provide date, time, location, and case number if applicable. Records will be released as long as it is public information. If the incident is under an active investigation or prosecution, the report is not releasable.
Copies of reports are generally available four to five days after the incident. A Public Records Request Form shall be completed in order to request and pick up any records. This form may be sent via email to the Records Unit or presented in person at the Police Department.
Any requests involving an extraordinary amount of clerk time will be charged an additional fee for processing plus the cost of copies. Charges are $.15 for single-sided pages and $.20 for double-sided pages.
