Citizen Advisory Board
Responsibilities
The Citizen Advisory Board brings concerns and problems to the board meeting for discussion and to formulate possible solution. The CAB then reports to the City Council once a month, outlining the issues they have discussed along with possible solutions.
The Citizen Advisory Board is a volunteer board and has vacancies available though out the year. Many members of the Citizen Advisory Board are also members of their local Homeowners Association, making it easy for information to be disseminated through out the community.

Composition
The Citizen Advisory Board is comprised of a group of 17 volunteers (one for every thousand residents) that are citizens of our community. In order to volunteer for this board, you must be a resident of the City of West Melbourne. There are no terms of office for the Citizen Advisory Board, members serve until resignation
Board vacancies will be posted in the News Flash section of the City's web site, on this web page, The Sun Newsletter, and within City Hall. If you are interested in serving on the Citizen Advisory Board and you meet the foregoing criteria, please complete the Application for Board Vacancy form, attach your resume and submit the form and your resume to Cynthia Hanscom City Clerk, City of West Melbourne, 2240 Minton Road, West Melbourne, Florida 32904.

Questions & Comments
Since the Mayor and City Council do not have office hours at City Hall, most questions, compliments and complaints about City services should be directed to Scott Morgan City Manager, 837-7771.

Meetings
The Citizen Advisory Board meets in the Judge T. Mitchell Barlow Council Chambers at the Veterans Memorial Complex, 2285 Minton Road, West Melbourne, FL 32904-4916 at 6:30 p.m.on the 3rd Monday of each month.
