CITY HALL RENOVATION PROJECT
The City of West Melbourne requests submittal of bid proposals for the CITY HALL RENOVATION PROJECT. All bids shall be based on the bid documents, specification sheets and project drawings included in the bid package. The duration of the contract shall be for 210 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed to Final Completion, with Substantial Completion within 150 days from the Notice to Proceed for first floor and 60 days for second floor. Meeting and submittal dates shall be specified in the delivery schedule.
SCOPE OF WORK: The project consists of renovating the first and second floors of City Hall as shown in the drawings. The project includes, but is not limited to the following items: Selective demolition, rough carpentry, new ceramic tile, new carpeting, new architectural casework, new solid core wood doors, new hollow metal frames, new door hardware, acoustical ceiling tile and grid, resilient flooring, wall base, interior painting, bullet registrant panels, signage, electrical work, and mechanical work.
The deadline for submission of sealed bids is April 24, 2017 at 5:00 pm. The offers will be publicly opened at West Melbourne City Hall, 2240 Minton Road, 2nd Floor, West Melbourne, Florida 32904 on April 25, 2017 at 10:00 am.
