Dairy Road Culvert Replacement Construction Progressing Nicely

Although Dairy Road at the M-1 Canal remains closed to traffic, the investor-owned utilities have completed their necessary relocations for the new culvert to be installed.  Construction work is progressing nicely during this time of very low storm water flows.  Barring unexpected early rains or other unanticipated difficulties, it is expected that the roadway will be reopened sometime in June.  The new culvert will be longer than the failed culvert it replaces so that in a future year, Dairy Road may be widened to four lanes without modifying any of the drainage.  For current project information, contact Deputy City Manager/Capital Projects Manager Keith Mills at 321-837-7771.
